    Supporters of the Taser, a so-called non-lethal weapon used by police, will tell you that it's better for someone to be hit with a Taser than with a bullet.   But are officers using Tasers only in situations where they would have otherwise used a gun?  Would police have really shot the dad at Chuck E. Cheese accused of sneaking veggies from the salad bar?  Would they really have shot the 68 year old woman they were trying to arrest for honking her horn?  And are Tasers really non-lethal?  This blog will examine the use of Taser technology by law enforcement agencies around the country.
